"The Lounge"
This room takes it inspiration from the lush jungl foliage that once covered the island of Palm Beach. The room is bathed in a deep green which sets off an eclectic array of elements.
Metaphorically the room is an escape from the "jungle" of life. A place for the busy urban couple to relax and unwind and take in the penthouse view. The closet has been turned into a bar with a mirrored wall
to reflect the windows. The mirrored desk doubles as a serving unit for larger gatherings. All artwork is by the designer.
" Foyer de la Mer "
From the grandeur of the Monte Carlo casino, to the swinging heydey of Brigitte Bardot, the French Riviera epitomizes international glamour,
shimmering with decadence. Monaco, Cannes, St. Tropez -- from the beaches to the discos to the villas, all nestled into that that brilliant
Mediterranean blue -- this entrance foyer is my decorative homage to those legendary resorts.
2008 American Red Cross Palm Beach Designer's Show House....
"The Contemplation Room" was envisioned as a private space within a large oceanfront penthouse apartment --
a space to read, think, reflect, and a space to be surrounded by art and books and the things one loves.
The design of the room was conceived as a 21st century take on an 18th century palazzo room.
It combines many elements of classic Palm Beach style with the soothing background colors of surf, sand, and sky.
